Mural - Munmorah Power Station Wyong Australia

In 1966, Architect and Artist Gino Volpato pictured created a ceramic mural for the entry foyer of the now decommissioned Munmorah Power Station in Wyong Australia. The artwork consists of well over 800 individually hand made ceramic pieces individually installed by Gino Volpato himself. The complete mural will be relocated to a museum prior to demolition in early 2016.

The Jacota apartments in Neutral Bay Australia is finally moving forward selling the 30 apartments spread across four levels above the ground level restaurant and bar area and two levels of car park area below ground. Construction is scheduled to commence early 2015.

Following the final critics of the 3rd & 5th winter semester Bachelor of Architecture Course ‘Architecture for Inclusion’, the University of Liechtenstein’s interviews Nicole Hatz about the semester project and how is one able to connect the town of Grabs Switzerland with Lukashaus, an institution for disabled persons situated on the outskirts of Grabs.

Nicole Hatz and Marco Volpato completed the winter 3rd & 5th Semester Bachelor of Architecture Course at the University of Liechtenstein. Students proposed various strategies on how to best develop the site of Lukashaus, an institution for disabled people in Grabs Switzerland such as adaptive re-use of the existing buildings, improve internal links within and between each building and to better connect with the town of Grabs by allowing a mix of activities and people that will provide to the disabled plenty of support but not dependence. New Residence Basel – Prototypes

Exquisite prototypes was prepared by the joiner for the new residence in Basel, which include an actual door, slot handles picture and veneered cupboard drawer panels with integrated timber slot handle to match.
